Since 2009, Concerts in Motion has brought the healing force of music directly to those who may not be able to access it. We listen to our community and connect our audiences with the music that is most meaningful to them. Our work sparks personal conversation and builds community – using music as the catalyst.
Our Community
Our audiences include older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, those experiencing housing or food insecurity, medical patients of all ages, individuals with mental illness, and others.
Our Music
We connect musicians who have a shared cultural fluency with our participants. We engage a roster of professional and student musicians who represent 16 genres of music and speak 20 languages.
Our Commitment
No matter the location, we can bring your music to you, and we tailor our programs to mobility, hearing, visual, and other access needs.

Intergenerational Program
Supporting young performers’ personal growth through thoughtfully developed outreach-based performance opportunities. Students touch the hearts and minds of some of New York’s most isolated residents.

100% grant- and donor-supported interactive, virtual music concerts with professional and youth musicians designed to relieve isolation. Accessible by all, no internet required.

100% grant- and donor-supported live music experiences, dedicated exclusively to homebound individuals served by our agency partners.

Subscriber Program
A special, private-pay music experience for families that enjoy intimate hour-long concerts on a recurring basis. We can provide these special one on one concerts either virtually or in person.
