Interactive Music for Everyone
Highly engaging, accessible concerts for people who benefit from specialized engagement.
Our Interactive
Music Program
We believe music should be accessible to everyone. That’s why each concert is curated in partnership with social workers, recreational therapists, and other experts from the agencies we reach such as Veterans Administration hospitals and residences for adults aging with developmental disabilities. Our musicians are trained by our staff team of social workers in engaging audiences even in the most challenging of circumstances.
“It’s fantastic, not only for the individuals, but the staff too. Residents really get involved, really participate and get happy.”
Fanny Rivera,
Case Manager at UCP Tanya Towers
Watch Susana’s Story
Susana is one of the many residents at UCP Tanya Towers, a residence in the East Village she calls home. She enjoys each concert wholeheartedly and even creates her own instruments to play along.
“Music cheers everybody up. It reminds me of my childhood, because my dad was my music teacher. And I miss him dearly.”
Susana Cramer,
Resident at UCP Tanya Towers
